My Therapeautic Approach

As a PMHNP, my approach is centered on partnership and a comprehensive understanding of each patient’s unique needs. I develop personalized treatment plans that reflect patients’ goals, based on in-depth assessments of their medical history, psychiatric profile, and lifestyle aspects. I utilize a range of evidence-based techniques, including prescribing and fine-tuning psychotropic medications, and employing various forms of psychotherapy such as CBT, DBT, and motivational interviewing. Additionally, I focus on educating patients and their families about mental health, offering a supportive environment for open communication, and incorporating mindfulness and stress management into care plans. Consistent follow-ups ensure that we can adapt and refine the treatment approach, providing steady support and progress towards mental well-being.
